Annie Leibovitz has designed a piece of luggage for Louis Vuitton’s charity campaign.
According to ELLE UK, “Leibovitz has designed a red-lined back pack filled with compartments to transport camera equipment”. I hope, this collaboration will make designers think of photographers.
As strange as it seems to me, currently there are no really beautiful camera bags on the market. When I was looking for one that wouldn’t scream: “I’m a camera bag!”, I finally found it, yes, at LV! Still, there’s no bag that would be as convenient and safe as a Lowepro and great-looking as a designer one at the same time. In the meantime, there are more and more female photographers who, like me, represent a great potential market for that.

This one has just arrived from http://tripman.co.uk and can’t wait for film to be loaded! It’s an old Olympus Trip 35, produced in 1982 (according to the serial number) and fully restored by the guys from Tripman.
What I like about this camera is that you can use it in studio, push the film thanks to manual ISO setting (although, only up to 400) and, of course, its soft, 70-s style picture.

New Galleries from Flickr are, in fact, an improved mix of groups and favourites. In two words, now we can all create galleries of up to 18 photos from other members to exhibit them to the public. I guess I’ll like the feature, as my favourite way of browsing Flickr has always been looking through other people’s favourites. You can do the same, by subscribing, for example, to my Favourites feed.
Thank you, Flickr, because the Explore has become a pile of junk full of highly-commented mobile phone pictures of kittens.

Simple. It’s the one whose pictures make you want to grab your camera and run to shoot immediately.

According to Photorumors, this invite from Canon Sweden says:
“During this fall, Canon will make one of its largest and most important launches in the company’s history and we hope you can attend. During a luncheon, you are invited to listen to CEO Jouko Tuouminen, Marketing presiden Monica Forsberg and trend analyst Magnus Lindkvist, talking about tomorrows trends and factors of success in the continually more digitalized everyday life.”
I hope, by “largest” they mean medium format, like, seriously.
